By creating environments where neurodivergent people can thrive, and where strengths and diversity are embraced, organisations build a more positive, inclusive, and productive work culture.
This new interactive course raises awareness of neurodivergence in the workplace, with a primary focus on ADHD and autism, but will also touch on dyslexia and other neurodivergent conditions.
Delivered through a strengths-based lens, participants will gain insight into how to foster a neuro-inclusive culture. The course includes practical strategies, tools for inclusive line management, employer’s legal responsibilities, and guidance on reasonable adjustments.
Led by Elizabeth Freeman, a neurodivergent professional and expert in inclusive practice, this course draws on lived experience and professional expertise.
This course will support you to:
- Understand key concepts and terminology around neurodivergence
- Recognise the strengths neurodivergent individuals can bring to the workplace
- Identify common challenges and potential barriers to inclusion
- Explore reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices that enable neurodivergent employees to thrive
- Reference the NHS Independent Taskforce report on ADHD published in June 2025
- Understand employers’ legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 regarding neurodivergence
- Create action plans to build a more inclusive team culture
