Chris Barker

Chris brings over 20 years’ experience working across homelessness, LGBTQ+ mental health, and Suicide Prevention.  He has completed a post-graduate certificate in Peer Supported Open Dialogue.  Originating from Finland, Open Dialogue is a trauma-informed approach that builds community resilience and empowers people to explore alternatives to the traditional medical models of mental health.  This reflects Chris’ passion for peer support and the power of story-sharing.
