Suzanne Bardsley

Suzanne has over 16 years experience as a Lead Trainer with the National Centre for Behaviour Change where she delivers high-quality training across a range of evidence-based approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Group Facilitation Skills, Health Coaching, and Trauma-Informed Care.

Suzanne has worked with a diverse range of organisations, including Age UK, Brighton & Hove City Council, Change Grow Live (CGL), East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, East Sussex County Council, Thrive Tribe, YMCA, Hastings & Rother CCG, Sussex Training Hub, Alliance for Better Care, The University of Brighton and The University of Hertfordshire. Alongside her training work, Suzanne is an experienced clinical supervisor and has contributed to research projects, as well as providing assessment and coaching in Motivational Interviewing.

With an early background in education, Suzanne has specialised in behaviour change for much of her career, working across a variety of settings and multidisciplinary teams. She has also lectured at both the University of Brighton and the University of Hertfordshire. She is currently working closely with a local carers’ organisation, supporting the application of behaviour change approaches within mental health services—an area she is particularly passionate about.

Suzanne is an active member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and is committed to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and best practice within the field.
